How Order works
Order works like the index card you'd plan your day on: five lines for what matters most today, plus one more to get ahead, called the Plus One. Everything else waits below in Up Next, ranked A, B and C, until you're ready for it. iPhone Duo has five positions, and Order has a layout for each.

Today's card is right on the outer display: what's done, and what's next. Tap a task's number to cross it off.
Landscape · Open flat
Unfold it, and today's card sits beside everything waiting in Up Next. Drag tasks over until the card holds what matters most.
Portrait · Open tall
Turn it tall. Today's card runs across the top, with your current task in big type, and Up Next fills the space below.
Seated · Half-folded
Half-fold it and set it on your desk. The top half shows your current task, and the bottom half becomes a control deck.
Standing · Propped up
Fold it most of the way and stand it on its edges. The outer display shows today's card while you work.
Drag to turn it around
Landscape
Open flat, iPhone Duo shows your whole day at once: today's card on the left, and everything waiting in Up Next on the right, ranked A, B and C. Choose what makes the card.
Hold any task in Up Next and drag it onto today's card. Drag it back when it can wait.
Tap a task's star to add it to today's card. If the card is full, tap the line it should replace.
Filter Up Next to Home or Work. Today's card always shows everything.
Seated · ORDER PRO
With iPhone Duo half-folded on your desk, the bottom half becomes a panel of keys, and the top half keeps your current task in view. Finish it, push it to tomorrow, bump it back to Up Next or pull in the next one, each with one press.
Cross off your current task. The next one steps up.
Move it to tomorrow's card.
Something urgent came up? Send the task back to the top of A, B or C in Up Next.
Freed a line? Pull the next task from Up Next onto today's card.
Capture a new task without leaving the deck.
Pick Home or Work, and Today and Add use that list. Mark the task you've started, and take back your last move.

Standing
Fold iPhone Duo most of the way and stand it on its edges, with the outer display facing you. Your current task shows in big type, and the rest of today's card runs down the side, crossed off as you go.
Your current task is big enough to read without picking up your phone.
Finished tasks stay on the card, crossed off in red, until the day ends.
Cross off all five and the Plus One, and the card says so: Five for five, plus one.

Your Apple devices
Order keeps your list in your private iCloud, so the same card is on each device you use. Finish a task on your iPhone Duo, and it's done on your iPhone too. iPad and Mac apps are coming soon. There's no account to create, and only you can see your list.

One extra task each day, on the line under your five. Use it for the things that never get done. It comes last, after the five that matter.
They move to tomorrow's card in the same order, ahead of anything you planned for tomorrow. If that fills the card, the extras go to the top of A.
No. Order runs on any iPhone with iOS 27. On iPhone Duo, it adds a layout for each position.
No. It needs iPhone Duo half-folded, with your current task on the top half and the keys on the bottom half. On other iPhones, you finish and move tasks right on today's card.
Half-fold iPhone Duo and set it down, and the deck opens by itself after a moment. You can also tap the control deck button in the side controls. To leave, tap Close, or open iPhone Duo flat.
Nothing moves. The layout changes to fit the screen, but your card, your place and anything you were in the middle of stay where they were.
