Order Your Day for Mac

Plan at your desk. Add from anywhere.

Order puts the five things that matter most today on one card, plus one more to get ahead. On the Mac, today's card sits beside everything waiting in Up Next, and a new task is one shortcut away, whatever you're doing.

Add from anywhere

A new task, without leaving what you're doing.

Press your shortcut in any app, and Order's new-task page floats over your work with the cursor in the title. Type the task and press Return. Order says where it went, then steps aside, and the app you were in keeps its place.

  • Any app, any desktop

It opens over whatever's in front, full-screen apps included.

  • The whole new-task page

Choose a priority, a list or a later day first, or just press Return.

  • Your shortcut

Set the keys in Order's settings, or turn the shortcut off.

Keyboard first

Your day, from the keyboard.

Move through today's card and Up Next with the arrow keys, then act on the task you're on, all without reaching for the mouse. And ⌘Z undoes your last change.

Native

At home on your Mac.

Order for Mac is a native Mac app. It works the way your Mac does: menus, right-click, drag and drop, and notifications.

  • Right-click. Finish, move or delete a task from its right-click menu.
  • Drag and drop. Drag a task to reorder it, onto today's card, or into A, B or C.
  • Reminders. Mac notifications with Done, In an Hour and Tomorrow, with Order Pro.
  • Siri and Spotlight. Ask Siri what's on your card, or find a task in Spotlight.
  • Open at login. Order can start when you log in.
  • Light and dark. Order follows the appearance you set on your Mac.

One card

One card, in your pocket and on your desk.

Order keeps your list in your private iCloud, so your Mac, iPhone, iPad and iPhone Duo show the same card. Cross off a task on your Mac, and it's crossed off on your iPhone too. One subscription covers all of them, and there's no account to create.

FAQ

Questions about Order for Mac.

Is Order for Mac a separate purchase?

No. It's the same app as on iPhone and iPad, so one Order Pro subscription covers all of them. The free plan works on the Mac too.

Do I need an iPhone to use Order on my Mac?

No. Order for Mac works on its own. Sign in to the same Apple Account on your other devices, and they show the same card, through your private iCloud.

Can I choose my own shortcut?

Yes. Set the keys for adding a task from anywhere in Order's settings, or turn the shortcut off.

Does Order work with its window closed?

Yes. While Order is running, your shortcut, the menu bar and reminders all work with its window closed. Turn on Open at Login, and Order starts when you log in.

What does Order cost?

Order is free for up to 10 open tasks; finished ones don't count. Order Pro removes the limit and adds reminders, plus skins and app icons as they arrive. It's $7.99 a month or $59.99 a year, after a 14-day free trial.

What do I need?

A Mac with macOS 27 or later.
